Milwaukee’s Future 50 Program

Milwaukee’s Future 50 Program recognizes privately-owned companies in the seven county region that have been in business for at least three years and have shown significant revenue and employment growth. “Trust is the Most Powerful Currency in Business.”

A recent article in Fortune Magazine notes that “trust is the most powerful currency in business.”  Since our inception, we have focused and worked hard on gaining that trust from our customers by keeping our commitments, dealing with them fairly, and delivering quality services completed quickly, professionally and within budget.  That’s why we are proud of our recently received A+ Rating from the Better Business Bureau, which standards of accreditation include, “Build Trust,” “Advertise Honestly,” “Tell the Truth,” “Be Responsive,” and “Honor Promises.”   Check out our full BBB report here.

Should You Repair or Replace Your Beat Up Parking Lot?

Deciding whether you should replace or simply repair damage to your paved parking lot or driveways requires an informed decision, typically based on an inspection by a professional asphalt contractor. Generally, if the foundation of the asphalt pavement isn’t damaged, you can get by with repairs that will save you money and prolong the life of your paved surface.    Sometimes, though, an asphalt surface is beyond the point where repairs will provide lasting help, usually due to foundation and structural issues.  To find out more about your repair or replace options, click here.

Who’s up for a quick game of basketball?

While we specialize in commercial paving jobs, we occasionally take on residential projects, where we apply the same principles of delivering exactly what our clients want in a timely manner with no surprises when the bill comes.  Beyond driveway repairs and replacements, we occasionally do a project like this basketball court.  We had a ball paving it!

Storm Water Management

We’ve already had several summer thunderboomers that produced heavy rain and flooding in some parts. For some businesses, the sheer volume of run-off produced by heavy rain or melting snow can create localized flooding on their driveways or parking areas that can lead to longer term damage to these paved areas as well as adjacent properties.  At Johnson and Sons Paving we have a licensed Master Plumber on staff to help clients determine the best solutions for managing their storm water needs.   We offer a full range of storm water services from drain tile to storm sewer installation. THOUGHTS TO LIVE BY

Each Friday, we share a favorite quote of the week that aligns with our values, principles and the way we do business. From Warren Buffet: “Honesty is a very expensive gift, don’t expect it from cheap people” to Vince Lombardi “Every job is a self-portrait of the person who did it. Autograph yours with excellence,” we span the globe to find words of wisdom that inspire us.  Click here to check out some of our favorites.
